# 01 What is RobinDog

RobinDog is a native prediction market on Robinhood Chain for the narratives that shape equities and crypto.

RobinDog turns the stories driving equities, crypto, technology, and macro markets into tradable prediction markets. Users can forecast whether an event will occur, trade the next stage of a narrative through a Story Tree, and take directional exposure to related Stock Tokens or crypto assets before the outcome is known.

RobinDog gives users three ways to participate:

* Predict events.
* Follow evolving stories.
* Trade their market impact.

Example markets may ask whether:

* NVIDIA will beat a specified earnings target next quarter.
* Apple will launch a particular product by a stated deadline.
* Tesla will reach a new delivery target.
* The Federal Reserve will change interest rates at its next meeting.
* A crypto project will launch its mainnet on schedule.
* A Pons project will graduate this week.

RobinDog brings views that are scattered across news, social media, research, and trading platforms into markets that can be traded, priced in public, and ultimately resolved.

Markets trade price. Before price moves, markets trade the story.
